Just a quick note to let you all know that my little boy, River James, was born at 11:43pm on April 21st. He was 8 days past due, and weighed in at 8lbs 5oz and 20in long.
VERY quick labor! Though I had some lighter contractions early in the day, my midwife broke my water, and the baby was out and on my tummy within 2 hours. Totally natural. Totally beautiful child.
