In the issue hitting stands this week, US Weekly confirms what many of us have suspected all along: Britney Spears IS, in fact, expecting her second child with husband Kevin Federline. (Son Sean Preston was born in September 2005.) The magazine reports that the pop star was so elated that she "cried her eyeballs out," but waited until the Easter holiday to reveal the news to her family and friends.

Well, she always said she wanted to be a mama. And she has the money. Maybe with two, she'll lose her figure, won't be able to work and will be able to be a REAL mama to her kiddos.

I'm still pissed about the car thing. I think she should have been HAMMERED for that. I see it all the time where I live and it makes me livid. OTOH, I don't think the baby falling out of the high chair should have been blown up so much, since that was an ACCIDENT, while the car seat thing was NOT. Sorry, OT....

i try very hard not to judge celebrities - i'm sure i would look fairly bad if you were following me around all day and caught me at my worst moments - but, yeah, the car thing was over the top.

This irritates me too-and this is horribly judgmental of me, but I know it's because I don't think she's a very aware, grounded parent! Not that I am perfect, I know, I know. Things just seem to happen with her based on what seems to be poor judgment on her part (maybe even in how she picked a nanny.)

she had to have gotten pregnant when he was 4 months old probably a desperate attempt to hold onto her marriage but when you build your house on sand it is bound to disinegrate so sad.She is due in October.

Wow...she's 4 months pregnant (I'm due in October that's why I know )...so that means she got pregnant when her son was 3 months old...
