I think this is normal depending on the tech. I've had friendlier ones who chat away, pointing out highlights like organs and spine and others who stick to the task and don't say anything besides move this way-move that way. The doctor *is* the one who is responsible for giving you accurate information based on the u/s. The techs can be wonderful smart people, but they are basically trained to point in the correct direction and click. I don't know why this particular tech wouldn't give you any information about weight, etc. I always look at the monitor and check all the numbers myself as they go along. You have the right to medical information about you/your baby taken from tests you agree to undergo! If you are feeling concerned, why not call your doc's office and ask the doc or a PA to request the report sooner, tell them you thought the tech acted strange about the results.
