I was lying in bed reading and just about to go to sleep when.....my water broke 
Contractions are continuing as they have been for days and days - mild, braxton hicks, no crampiness yet. I'm off to try and get some SLEEP since it's midnight here, though this constant peeing-my-pants feeling is kind of sucky 
Wish me luck, ladies, and I'll post again in the a.m. if things don't take off sooner than that

we welcomed our 8 lb, 10.5 oz son (nameless atm) into the world on 4/28 at 8:24 pm. We are home from the birth center and snuggling in bed for the foreseeable future

I suspected that b/c i'd been able to reach it the week before and then couldn't anymore earlier this week. I'm glad I held off until I did on the ve, but also glad to have had that baseline when I went in for my first labor check.
