I have 1. A hotsling. That's it, and it's enough for me.

I have a padded ring sling (Sling-Ezee, looks just like the OTSBH), a Maya adjustable pouch, a Koala Mei Tai, a new-style Ergo, and a Kelty backpack. I used to have another ring sling but then I lost a bunch of weight and it didn't fit anymore so I gave it away. So I own 5, used to be 6.

DD has decided she's too old for the slings, so she'll only ride in the Ergo or the Kelty. (She's 20 months old.)

My baby is 3 months old. I bought a rs on a tue, then on sat she was born. since then I have aquired sevral more wraps (and a parero that my mil gave me) and I plan on getting another wrap and a solarveil pouch next week....

so far:
1 rs - OTSBH 'pecan'
4 wraps - all homemade
5yd lt green gauze
5yd dk green and black 'faux batik' heavier cotton
3.5 yd rust gauze
2.5 yd lt green gauze
1 black parero with white shells on it


plan on getting:
solarveil pouch (looking at a used navy one)
GM BBB 5yd freya
maybe a white solarveil rs or mt
maybe a black or pewter GM water wrap or somthing similar
maybe another pouch (havent even gotten the first one yet and I am planning on another!!!)


oh.. and my husband has an infantino... never tried it though....

I started w/ a pouch (mom and me)

I then added a solarveil ring sling (for a vacation we took when DS was 2 months old)

Then came a Maya ring sling

I have a Kozy mei tei and another ABC a friend made me

DH has his own Kangaroo Korner adjustable fleece pouch.

If we ever have another child, I'd like to add one or two more

I think they are all good for different purposes and at different stages of development

1 Mom&Me Creations Pea in a Pod hemp adjustable pouch
1 Hotsling fleece pouch

And I just sold 2 Peanut Shell pouches and a Hotsling that were too big for me now that I've lost some baby weight and a BabyHawk that I didn't care for the print of.

I'm constantly trying out different slings, I just have to have one for every possible situation hee hee hee.

I have:

3 ring slings
2 hotslings pouch slings
1 mams milk pouch sling
1 Kozy Carrier Mei Tai
1 Ergo
1 Moby Wrap
Oh yeah and 1 Baby Bjorn

I really want an Ellaroo wrap and Mei Hip. I'm thinking about getting those too.

1 Mom and Me PnP adjustable pouch

I knew I wanted something super easy but also adjustable (hopeing to avoid sizing issues) so I went hunting for an adjustable pouch. I could only find a few adjustable pouches on the market. I lucked on to a PnP on the FSOT boards and am so happy I did! I now have a second PnP on the way in a color I like better (LOL). Snapped on one level it fits DH, snapped smaller it fits me Yea!

And for days when I need a two shoulder carry I have the two wraps (one is super grippy the other isn't so much).

At 7 weeks the MT is the only one I haven't used. The other three have been used daily since DD was 2wks.

Wow! That is a lot of baby carriers mamas! I thought I had a lot, but I don't think so anymore

1 ergo baby
1 rei back pack

I really only use the ergo baby on a regular basis anymore. Dd is 19mos and pretty heavy at this point. We still use the hotsling on occasion for short periods.

Well we used to have a whole lot, but now that DS is older we have a better idea of what he likes (and what we like). We have been working on selling all our pouches and wraps and RS's... pretty much everything except for:

- our watercolor Kozy that works for both DH and me

- DH's zolo burning love pouch which I bought him last year for his birthday

- and we just got a NG Ergo, which we like so much that we might get another one!

We feel so "mainstream" wearing the Ergo, but it is really comfortable

But...but...their carrying needs change as they get older! I keep telling dh I'm going to sell some of the ones I don't use as often, but I haven't decided if that's a lie or not. I like trying the different types.

We started with a Baby Bjorn
Then I made a pouch sling
Then I made another pouch sling
Then I bought a hotsling
A Kelty Backpack on the way (for DH)
I am requesting an Ergo for Mothers day
and plan on making a Mei Tai.

So perhaps by the end of this month I will have 7 baby carriers.
