I had a c/s with DS and it was at 37.5 weeks. I never experienced labor so I have no clue what it's like. I had lots of BH, even painful ones, but not labor. This pregnancy I've had what my doc and midwife say are "real" contractions, but they felt nothing like this.
Last night I had a series of "I don't know what's" and I'm still trying to figure it out. It was like my belly, the entire turtle shell of my pregnant belly, was rock hard. It felt so weird and honestly it was pretty disturbing to where I couldn't converse or even hear the conversation (we were at a restaurant), hard to explain, like I was stuck in a sit-up and really using those muscles, but not able to control it? It would stay that way for a time, hard to say exactly how long, longer than a minute, less than 3? My actual stomach didn't hurt, but while this was happening my back and upper thighs felt painful and pretty strained and even my full vaginal area and bottom ached I don't know, like it was "full". I don't know if I'm making sense and I'm sorry if this is way TMI, but I really would like to know what was going on!! It happened maybe a total of 6 times over two hours. I went to sleep and outside of being quite a bit more achey and full feeling than usual, I'm back to "normal". Any ideas?

I agree. Contractions for sure.
