labor mandala!

I've been working on making a mandala for labor from some photos I have taken of the wild spring flowers out here. (I moved from AZ to MA last fall, and let me tell you - the difference in spring is just boggling!)

So, anyhow, I've been making a mess of them to find the 'perfect' one for focus during labor, and thought I would pass one along to all my other waiting May Mamas!

This was made from a photo of some sweet blue hydrangeas (sp?) growing outside of our birth center at my last appointment.

Spring in New England is just wonderful, isn't it? I can't imagine living somewhere without such distinct and drastic seasons. Now that the grass is green (well, everywhere but in my pathetic lawn) and the spring rains are here, I know my baby isn't far behind!
