what time i tried looking at previous post and cant see were it says a time.


sorry about your nursling. how is the baby doing. i dont think it would look funny if anyone asked that is all you have to tell them is that you are doing it to feed your baby. just like nursing to me but i understand if you dont feel comfy and want to be with baby. love you all will be praying for you and your baby

Jayme - If you are up to coming, we'd love to have you just as support. But don't worry, no one expects you to... you need to be with your baby.

Also, I would love to help you out somehow; that's gotta be rough to have a preemie, plus so many other kids. PM me...

My mind is mush lately

Elora is doing well, she's holding stable which is all we can hope for right now.

We are really lucky that my kids are with family right now, so we can concentrate on Elora getting better.

Yeah, it was at 1:00. Just me & Sharon.. the Daily News showed up, though. They took pictures and talked to us. I didn't even get to nurse, though - DS was just NOT interested. So... it was a little disappointing - didn't even look like a nurse-in or anything - but the newspaper article will hopefully do the job.

I keep thinking, though, that I never told the reporter today that this was a nationwide event. I know I said it on the phone (more than once), and I don't know what Sharon said... but for some reason I am really nervous, thinking this is going to be portrayed as some wacky thing with just us! LOL. Hopefully they'll get it straight. I think I am being paranoid about nothing - I often stress about the most random details...

Oh, and when we met, Sharon & I realized we knew each other - I used to work with her DH. So that was cool... after the semi-nurse-in, we walked around the mall for over an hour just talking.

Jayme - that's great... but let me know if you need anything.

I picked up a paper today but didn't see anything. hopefully they didn't decide to trash the story.
maybe it will make it into tomorrow's issue.
I'd really like to have copies of the photoghaphs taken,wonder if they'd release them to us?

Sharon - Yeah, I looked at the paper too. Apparently I wasted $1.25... grrr. It better be in there tomorrow.

Daniel McNamara was the reporter... so talk to him about the photos.

i can't afford internet anymore, so i won't be around. this is indefinite; at least 6 months. i may pop in from time to time on a library computer, but that'll be it.

I wish i could have made it but had to drop hubbies uniform off before i got the message about the time sorry gals. I kept looking over there when i did errands and didnt see a t.v thing but it probably was in back so i didn tknow if anyone decided not to do it. sorry again my hubbie yelled at me that day for not getting them in on time anyway but i had to wait till payday t do it. i tole him next time bring your own darn uniform in oh well he will learn not to procrastinate he new about this two months ago and it the uniform he doesnt always wear so his fault not mine. anyway hope to hear from you all soon.

Aw, shucks. I go on vacation for 3 weeks and miss a nurse-in here in Jacksonville! How did the article turn out, ladies?

Welcome Sharon! I'm near Richlands, too! On a road off Bannerman Mill.

I was trying so hard to get on the last few days to tell everyone about early registration at CC Dance, but the server didn't get up in time. You can still register, you just miss out on a $10 discount for early registration. They are very child oriented. DD is doing tumbling & we're trying out the playgroup. They also have several kinds of dance, Kindermusik, and yoga (including prenatal & postnatal classes & a free class with a free childcare coop). They're also starting a boutique with local crafted items (handmade clothing, soaps, etc.). Gosh, I sound like an ad!

How is everyone? Surviving the heat? It was soooo nice to be in Washington with beautiful sunny days and temps around 70!

You knit, right? I bet Mercy would love to carry your stuff! She's always asking if I know anyone who makes AP oriented stuff...slings, diapers, etc. There's a yarn shop right next door, too. I think it's called The Tail Spinner.

I actually am making slings for another friends business right now as we speak LOL and making hand dyed and painted shirts .. I'll have to find a way to get to richlands and talk to her, but thats too far for me to take classes, I'm on the other end of the county *pout*

Elora is good
She had her second surgery on Monday & she's starting feedings tonight- through the tube, but still, it's nice that she'll get to use some of the gallons of breastmilk I've been pumping LOL

I'm doing ok too- just very busy!

you could try crystal coast doulas- I think they are the group that helps with the military spouses who's hubbys are deployed
