I guess I'll start the whining:

Super fatigued, nauseas, irritable, upset that I'm up 12 pounds from prepregnancy with my first.

Also:

Excited
Scared
happy
scatterbrained

I am feeling bloated mostly, after I eat lots of gas that makes my belly really hurt. Some nausea in the mornings, very tired! Oh and emotional of course.

I'm feeling pretty good. A touch of nausea first thing in the am, before breakfast. Oh, and I can hardly stay up to put the kids to bed. My eyes get so heavy at about 8 or 9 p.m. Bloated at night before bed, but it's gone when I wake up.

My breasts are huge! They were terribly sore up until a few days ago. Now, just big and a little tender.

Congrats mamas! So excited for this journey ahead of us!

I'm just feeling a bit more tired. Mainly I am still since I just found out this morning!

Crampy. Is that normal? AF was supposed to start on the 28th, and I started cramping (as per usual) about two or three days before that. But it hasn't gone away, and in fact is pretty bad today. Anyone else have cramps?

Other than that, I'm a little tired, but that could just be because I overslept this morning. And despite having no other symptoms, I still rationalized the purchase of butter pecan ice cream earlier today . . .

Emotionally, I keep bouncing all over the map. Starting to be more excited than freaked though. A little, anyway.

Ya know, I have felt crampy for the past 3 days too.
And I feel ya on the "starting to be more excited than freaked out." LOL I was totally shocked this morning and it has taken some time to set in and I am just now able to feel more excited.

Yes I have cramps as well its very normal in your first trimester.

I'm crampy, too. I was a little worried about that but I remember it from my first pregnancy. Yesterday I didn't feel as crampy and then I worried about THAT!! I'm also very tired, peeing all the time, and have sore boobs. So far the nausea hasn't hit but I am sure it will in about 2 weeks. I am forming a plan to deal with it when it rears its ugly head!

We were shocked although we were technically not avoiding. We conceived the first time we didn't use birth control! I think I said something like, "Well, don't forget it could take 6 months!" So I am slowly getting more excited than freaked, too!

Hi everybody. I am so happy to be here. This little bean took us 14 cycles to conceive and I was beginning to think I'd never see a . I'm due January 9th and this will be our first baby.

So far, I've been peeing a lot (although I've been thirsty and drinking a ton of water) and I'm a little fatigued (although I did cut of caffeine a couple of days ago). Overall, I am completely excited and smitten with the idea of being pregnant. I've been feeling some twinges here and there, but no real cramps.

I just went and had blood taken for my first beta, so : that it's a good number.

I look forward to getting to know you all much better over the next 8 or so months! Congratulations, all!

I am SO glad there is finally a January DDC!

Feelings... well, mentally I'm a little anxious. My last pg was rocky early on, and it took us 18 months this time to conceive, so I'm still in the "it feels to good to be true" mentality.

Physically... well, I'm nursing DD, and my boobs are SORE. She only nurses twice a day, so its bearable but latching on is like "yowch". But at the same time I'm glad it hurts because hopefully that means my hormones are working! Besides that, I'm tired, but having a hard time sleeping. Nauseous but not throwing up... yet... Definitely feel twingy and strechy. And although I've maybe gained one pound, if that, I already feel like my stomach is sticking out.

Have you guys told everyone yet? Or are you waiting? I have an ultrasound on May 22nd (I'll be 8 weeks) and I'm at least waiting until after that. I want to wait until 12, but I don't know if I'll be able to hide it that long, both from excitement and from sheer logistics of hiding a tummy.

My best friends know and does my sister who told me that she is sewing all my newborn and size small dipes as my baby shower gift

Mentally, DH and I are still a bit in shock. This is our first, and it took us 12 cycles to conceive, so I'm still adjusting but THRILLED and feeling very blessed and grateful. I can't believe that I really am carrying a new life around! I have also quickly slipped back into the full on research mode that characterized the start of our TTC journey and waned as the months rolled on. It's so fun to have a reason to be learning about this stuff again and not being the odd person who has no child and yet has read stacks and stacks of pregnancy books.

Physically, my main symptoms have been cramps, thirst and some temperature swings during the day. Yesterday the sore boobies made their debut, and today, constipation and perhaps some bloating. Ugh. I'm usually, er, super regular, so I think prunes are my new best friend. So far I'm amazed I haven't had nausea: my mom had it from the get go and I just always imagined I would have it, too. I guess there's still PLENTY of time for that yet.

I'm so excited to be on this journey with all of you!

I'm glad I'm not the only one with cramps . . . or the only one both scared and excited!

As for telling people, I don't know yet when we're planning to just sort of announce it to everyone we know. I was going to think up some special way to tell dh, but instead blurted it out about five minutes after I saw the result. I've told the one friend of mine who is already a mama, and today I told my best friend. Thursday I'm meeting a friend-couple (is there a word for a couple when you are friends with both individuals? if not, there should be) and telling them, though I'm a little worried about their reaction, since they're ttc too. I mean, I know they'll be happy for us, but if I were in their place I'd be jealous too. Other than that . . . dh knows he can tell his family whenever he wants, I imagine it will be before we go visit them in June; my family I'm waiting until the last possible moment to tell - I love them but they can be more that a bit overbearing!

Hmmm. I think that might have been way more detail than necessary - does pregnancy make you wordy, I wonder?

well my first pregnancy was a walk in the park. nary a burp let alone morning sickness, it was so prefect. this one is going to be so different..it already is.. I am exhausted, I spend half the night on the couch with a bucket in my lap puking gagging and spitting from nausea.. I cry when the wind blows and my boobs are throbbing. yup..totally different. DH says today..sarcasticly well this is gonna be a long nine month. at whch point I had to physically restrain my hand from chucking the sweet potato I was peeling at the back of his head. Ahhh... and so it begins.. hehhe
