I just thought I would introduce myself here.

I am Amy, 24yo SAHM. My children are Will (5/12/99) and Abby (3/30/01). My new baby is due to arrive on August 29th. We are very excited.

I am really torn about finding out the sex of the baby. With my other 2 children, my instincts told me what they were and I turned out correct but this time around I am clueless and it's driving me bonkers. I know I won't end up finding out, I think I would probably kick myself if I did, it's just so tempting. It would also make cloth diaper shopping much easier (I am such an addict).

For a girl, we have the name Lauren picked out. For a boy we are clueless. DH really likes Levi, but I really don't like it. I am open to suggestions! LOL

I hope to be active here at MDC, I registered a long time ago, but I tend to feel lost in the shuffle as a newbie on an established board, so I thought I would start out here in the pregnancy forum.

Hi Amy, welcome! I am also a SAHM (though I've got almost ten years on you...), expecting our third, don't find out the gender until the birth either. We have two girls now (ages 6 and 2) and I never had an inkling when I was pregnant with either of them as to which gender they were. I kind of think this one is a girl since that is our track record but we'll see in three more months! Sure would be cheaper as we have all the clothes!
I like your kids' names. I think Lauren is very nice too. I really like Levi but not sure it "goes" with your first two kids' names as well as something else might. We are totally up in the air on names now ourselves.

Kirsten, I agree with you about Levi not really going with my kids' names. I like the name, but something just doesn't settle right with me, and that's probably it.
