but has anyone given thought to names yet? I have..

Ooooh, I love the name stuff. Still sort of scared of jinxing myself, my dh was making fun of me for believing in jinx, but I jsut don't want to get too cocky (had a mc last year).
What names are you thinking?
I got to name our son, so we agreed that DH could think of names for the next baby. I have vito rights, but he is the one thinking of names.

DD is affectionately calling the baby "flower" or "baby beluga". Does this count?

No real names yet. I know with my first son we could not agree on a name. I am sure it will be the same this time. I really like Samantha for a girl but of course DH said no already. I really want to wait tell we know the sex to think of names though.

I am ready to name 10 children! I 'm serious... Dh and I are nuts about names. If a boy we are liking Jude Maddox or Jude Thomas, and for a girl, Ruby June, or Ruby Claire.

ahhh very nice.. I am naming fool myself..
girls:

Kyla Rose Marie or Zoey Rosemarie

boys:

Kyle William or Xavier William

Rose is my beloved aunt name
and Marie was my Moms name (RIP)
and William is my brothers name.

these of course are subject to change on my whim by DH does have vito power for anything except the middle names. he gets to choose the last name.

We have one son and his name is Zachary William.. so they have to go with that too.. because we have OCD.

of course if it is a lil girl she will be nicknames Sissy ( my mothers nickname) and we live in the south now so it works..heheh

I have been trying to come up with names but it is so hard. We finally decided on the best name for dd #1 and now coming up with another is going to be tough work.
Here are some names I kinda like...
Girls...
Amara
Autumn
Kaelynn
Katelynn

Boys...
This is tough (guess since I am set on thinking we are having another girl )

I wish I had better places to look for names. This dumb baby book sucks.

I've wanted to use AnnaMarie for years. It's a combination of our favorite grandmothers' names, respectively. Anna includes my mom's middle name (Ann), so in a way it's also a tribute to her memory.

I like Dionysus for a boy (Dion for short). Whadya'll think? Otherwise, like mama2ashlynn, I'm pretty set on a girl! :-)

DH and I have referred to a hypothetical kid (even before getting pregnant) as "Eschscholzia" (the scientific name for the California poppy- DH is a botanist). We'd never EVER name a kid that, but it's fun to talk about the hypothetical kid "Eshie". Now that we're talking real names, though, we've got a couple in mind so far. Girl: Veronica May (May is his grandma's name), Lily Melissa.
Boy: Reid ___?___, Jasper ___?___, ... still not sure (especially on the middle names). We have a much easier time with girl names than boy names.

I love love LOVE the name Jude for a boy!!!

The only name I really sort of have my set heart on is Jane for a girl (my sister's name is Sara Jane.) Boy names are harder this time around for me to think about, whereas last time it was the opposite. (Does this mean there is a possiblity we really COULD have a girl, or just wishful thinking? )

Honestly, I know it sounds so cliched, but as long as this baby gets here healthy, boy or girl, I don't care. It would be fun to be a mama to 4 boys!

We decided on a girls name first name Sahaja (Suh-High-Uh) and for the middlename we wanted to combine 3 of our grandmothers- Viola, Isabelle and Lillian. We so far have either:

Sahaja Vi-Lilybel Johnson

or

Sahaja Viola Lilibel Johnson

Our son is Sabien Vern William Johnson

I like the boy's names:

Azriel, Eltanin, Soren, Bastien, and Atreyu

Other girl names in case of twins lol

Zarah, Sakari, Lereya, Aurora

I like 'em rare!!

Scrimoo!

We're not ready to talk about real names yet, but we have decided what to call the baby before it's born (since we don't plan on finding out the gender). Some friends of ours called their kid "Cletus the Fetus" until it was born, and another couple we know called theirs BaShoo, short for Baby Schuman.

So until our bean is born, we will probably call him or her "ScriMoo", which is a combination of syllables from our two last names. I'm looking forward to starting to talk names with DH!
