Look online for anything about "French Milling Soaps" and even "Melt and Pour" Soaps. You will find instructions on how to grate and melt soaps, and include additives (oatmeal, honey, milk, dried flowers, fruit, tea, essential oils, spices, colors etc).
I read a ton and did my own French milled soaps some years ago and gave them out as Christmas presents. Everybody loved them!
This was my favorite book to read: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/080...lance&n=283155
There are some good online links, which I don't have with me at the moment. I will post those later.
