Another little boy

We went in for our ultrasound yesterday, and saw that we are having another little boy. My first was born 9lb7oz with a 15"head. This one is already measuring 5 or 6 days bigger than my due date. That makes me a little nervous, as with my first one, I was in the hospital with an epidural. I don't have insurance, so with this one it's going to be in a birthing center with a midwife. I'm pretty nervous about having another big boy.

Other than that, everything looked perfect, and he was even sucking his thumb in there. It was so great.

Congrats on the baby boy! We are having another boy too. Just remember that every birth & baby is diffrent. Are you or have you taken any childbirth classes such as the Bradley Method or Hypnobirthing to help you during the birth?

We took a "Lamaze" type class with my first, which I vividly remember. I have all my notes from the class too. I've been going over all my notes for the last few weeks.

We took Bradley classes last time which were great, but they kinda went out the window when the time came. This time I am going to start looking into Hypnobirthing.

Have you concidered a Doula? Sometimes you can find ones that are in training & need the experience so they charge very little or are free. You can locate one by contacting DONA or CAPPA, both have websites.
