anyone use a neti pot? - Page 2

eek, I get sort of panicky when i feel that drowning feeling, so I might have to keep starting over from the beginning until I get the position right.

We'll get the other salt asap, but in the meantime, we're all freaking sick so as long as we DO dissolve it all the way, it's not going to hurt us?

Oh, no, it won't hurt you! I was just letting you know because if it's not dissolving all the way, you will definitely get a burning feeling. But you've got it all dissolved, you're good. Are you warming the water too? It feels better to me to use lukewarm water because then it's closer to your body temp.

I hope you all feel better soon!!!

We just got one too and my boyfriend seems to like it. The instructions that came with said that your nose should be lower than your mouth when leaning over and that if the water is too cold or too hot, you might get more stuffed up. It also said that about the amount of salt used. Good luck!
