I feel a bit off...

We have been TTC #1 for about 7 months when the doctor says I'm not ovulating. He puts me on Clomid and I take it this month for the 5 days at 50mg. I bought a box of the Clearblue OPK. The sticks don't seem to work for me, very faint reference line, not as dark as I would have thought. Anyhow, I seem to be tired a lot and have lately been having some major cramps on my right side. I have never really had cramps before. They aren't the kind that bring you to your knees just a persistant cramp. A couple of nights ago I had some brown icky discharge (yuck) but nothing since then. I'm not sure when I should be ovulating, or if I have already. Right now I'm not sure of anything. We have decided to take the OPK every other day until it gets the dark line or until the 10th. My next cycle should start around May 22nd.

I just don't really have a clue what is up with my body.

I am kind of in the same boat that you are in - TTC #1, on clomid, etc! I would recommend doing the OPK EVERY day because for me, I only get a positive on one day! so you just might miss it. i never ovulated before clomid so the OPKs never worked for me before that. With Clomid I do get a positive, but only for that one day. I would also suggest to drink lots of water (and possibly green tea). Clomid is known for drying you up so you really need to stay hydrated. i don't know if this helps or not, but i do understand your frustration.

I'm currently in Iraq so me and water are very intimate. I'm hoping it was my body getting ready to ovulate or something. I'll be taking the test first thing in the morning to see. It could all be mind over matter too. I'm hoping it isn't since I took the Clomid, I hope that it does its thing cause if it doesn't we have to wait another 3 months to try. I'm tired of waiting. Trying is fun but everytime a new cycle starts we are both very disappointed. Anyhow, good luck to you.
