Oooh, I just got my first mei tai a couple days ago - a baby hawk with black straps, happy skulls on one side and sunrise floral on the other side. Let me tell you, it so exceeded my expectations in terms of craftsmanship and beauty, you won't believe it! It is JUST really amazing.

I've had one really good front carry in it so far and one lame back carry (I got her in it all by myself, though, and she fell right to sleep while I cleaned the kitchen, although she was drooping something fierce and hurting my back).

You will love it! (It takes practice and my babe is still alittle small for it, but I think I am going to LOVE it too!)

just an FYI though..i dont back carry in a MT b/c i just cant seem to get him to stay straight. i think it much easier when they are bigger (at least im told). for back carries, i use the wraps but i admit to not doing that much either.
i have an onbu and swore that he was going to fall out in the back carry so i dont do it anymore...

i am lusting over a BH..i got the XT but it had too many straps for me...i want a regular one but dont want to shell out all the $$$!
