So tell me what you think of Blue Canoe clothing? I need to get a few staple clothing items and would rather buy a few good things than a lot of cheap ones. How is Blue Canoe, how's the quality? How well does it wash up? Does it pill? I wanna hear the good and bad.

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

I really like my blue canoe, but it is not perfect. Here's a quick summary, imo:
pros: soft organic cotton, does not bleed, fits well and has a good variety of mix and match styles, very comfortable
cons: can get pilly after repeated washings (though I dry in the dryer in the winter, so maybe this impacts that), multiple seams and embroidery have come undone, expensive, slow to fill and order and ship, expensive shipping if you order directly from them

I have a bunch of bras and boy shorts from BC. The cotton is very soft and was very comfy through my pregnancy and post-partum. Not crazy about the waistbands on the boy shorts, though.
No problems with pilling or quality here, I've been totally satisfied with what I bought.

I have bra and a Jane top, they are comfy and fit well, but there is basically no support. I'm a small c cup so nothing huge. The bra is at best a casual around the house bra, not enough support that I'd wear it out. I was under the impression that the Jane top was all I'd need (no bra under) well no way. Now I like the top but again no support.

I bought a bunch of undies a few years ago. The scoop bikinis have stretched into MAJOR granny panties--so I got rid of them. The regular bikinis I got are very nice cotton and beautiful colors----but ride up the crack BIG time
, so I rarely wear them. This stuff is expensive, so I will not buy again. In fact, I figure that chemicals MUST wash out of regular cotton so I went ahead and bought a bunch of Hanes undies and they fit better and are really cute.......
