Well, we had our ultrasound on Wednesday and found out we have a healthy beautiful baby boy. Yesterday my midwife called us and said we needed to go back in for another ultrasound because they couldn't find the stomach. Is this something I should be concerned about? She said everything else looked healthy. We did have a weird positioned baby during the ultrasound...could that have been why they couldn't find a stomach? I wasn't too worried about it at first because our midwife said we had a healthy critter in there, but the longer I think about it, the more I start freaking out about it.
Update:
We went in yesterday for our second ultrasound, and within 5 seconds of putting the wand on my belly he saw the babys stomach. I was so relieved. Even though I knew it was probably nothing to worry about, I just couldn't help feeling that huge sigh of relief when he said, "There it is...his stomach looks great. He's getting plenty of fluids in there." While we were there, we got a better look at his profile and at his male parts. The ultrasound lasted all of 10 or 15 minutes, but made all the difference in my sanity.
I want to thank you for your well thoughts and wishes.
