Less than 36 hours to go!!!!!

I am scared and excited at the same time...

I am due for my c-section @ 8:00am on Tuesday....(no vbac friendly doctors around here and the one I did find wouldn't take me on ).....

I am so excited for my babe to finally be here but I am scared of surgery...Last time was an emergency so I was just rushed right into it but I feel weird knowing that I am going in for it this time...

Just wanted to share and ask for thoughts and prayers....

Quinn was my THIRD c-section due to the same sort of difficulty...I will be praying for you mama. You will do wonderfully.

Do you live in my town?

I will be thinking of you tomorrow morning. My first was a planned c/s due to breech presentation. It is odd to know ahead of time, but it does allow you to be somewhat calm and relaxed going in. I would think you'll feel a little more in control. (something you may desperately need if you have had your birth choices taken away from you as I did) Mine is Wednesday at 7:30am and I was actually a touch scared to post about it.

I'll join in with you and nitareality. Mine is scheduled for Wednesday at 9 AM. I feel the same way that you do *andflipping*. I'm okay with the c/s, but I'm scared knowing what I'm going in for. Just about everyone I know that has had a scheduled second plus c/s says it is SO much easier than having labored for many hours before hand. My main thing is that I hate the hospital and don't want to be away from home for as long as I will be (doc says probably 3 nights! UGH!)

Just think, at least we're in this boat together and can share our stories after/while we're holding our little bundles. I'm excited and totally freaked out at the same time.

Oh mama, good luck to you. It really doesn't matter how baby gets here as long as he/she is healthy. You'll both come through the surgery fine I'm sure, and look what you'll have to look forward to when you do!

In getting ready for what is essentially my first labor, I've read a ton of birth stories and there are some really nice CS ones, if you want something to put you at ease.

For me, a VBAC is an option, but now that the "post EDD" clock is ticking, I thought to myself..."I definitely can see the benefit of KNOWING when the babe will come
