Gosh, I could not believe from the flashbacks how much everyone had aged in the past 10 years! It made me cry!

I am going to miss that show - although I have not watched it much in the last few years.

That was the finale?? Lame! I n eed another season - WAY too many loose threads... That "one more season on the CW" rumor sounds really plausible.

I thought it was one of the WORSE series finale I have ever seen. I enjoyed the show in the beginning, then only watched it off and on once Mary (Jessica Biel) left the show. I watched it because I knew ALL the Camden's would be on it and it was the series finale. On a scale of 1-worse to 5-best, I'm giving it a 2-star rating. Almost the entire show, all they did was debated if Rose and Simon were going to follow through with the wedding or get "cold feet". I also didn't like how Mary wasn't really with the family at the end. The only good parts of the show was the flashbacks.

I haven't watched the show much in the past couple years, but I wanted to "catch up" so I watched the finale. OH. MY. WORD. So totally lame. The twins thing was ridiculous! Just really over the top.

And the thing with Sandy and the baby at the end was just...confusing. Bah.

On our local news on Sun. night, they had something on the bottom of the screen that said something like "7th Heaven's Ends Series Tomorrow Night...Or Does It?"

What a cruel joke that would be.

I recorded it & the recording ended early, just after Sandy told Simon "We have to talk". I was not pleased. But it sounds like I didn't miss any information. Although the show was cheesy, it was nice to have a show on that valued family & I'll miss it.

We haven't had cable in a few years and this was one of the only shows I actually missed (this and Monk - please tell me that's still on the air even if I'm not watching it )

Anyway, Simon ISN'T married and is having sex? WOW, I missed a lot, Or did I mis-read that? Do his parents know? Details, I need details!

Jessica Biel was in the show but wasn't with the family. She was in some day dream imaginary scenes that Eric and Annie (the mom and dad) were thinking about. And then at the very end she was shown as being on the other end of the phone with her husband. She was super pregnant.

Yea Simon had sex with a couple different partners I believe. Mom and Dad and siblings all knew about it. He actually had to talk to Matt once because he thought he could possibly have an STD. He finally came to a decision not to have sex until he was married,

Mom and Dad weren't thrilled, obviously, due to their beliefs about sex and marriage. But really all they did was offer their opinions and a rule that he couldn't have sex in their home. He was 18 so it was his decision to make. Overall I was pretty pleased with how they wrote the issue/dialogue. It was so a Very Special Episode lol.

That whole twins thing is kind of a stretch. But I do know a family like this. I nannied for a set of twin girls (fraternal) and the dad had siblings that were twins. And two non-twin siblings had sets of twins. One set was boy/girl about 20 and the other has boys (i believe fraternal) about 6 or 7 and this family's girls are 6. So it does happen. But I'm not sure that these were all naturally ocurring pregnancies. Also not sure they weren't.

If you haven't watched it in a while you might be suprised that Simon also killed a guy in a car accident. That was 2 years ago? So he went to college early to get out of town and not be tormented about it.

Oh, that's sad Was it his fault (reckless driving or DWI or something) or a total accident? And was the actor still on the show?

Maybe someday I'll buy them all on DVD

It was an accident but he really was tortured by the whole thing - he left high school early because the brother of the boy he killed was attending the same school and it was too much for him. He remained on the show but in a reduced capacity that season and his presence on the show really increased in the final 2 seasons.

I too want to buy all 10 seasons on DVD when they finally are all released - I love the show and know that when my girls are older they would be totally safe to watch for preteens and younger.
