I'll be ordering a sippy top when they're available, but I just could not handle another day of manky plastic cups!!
Bonberi-

Can you let us know what you think of the sippy top when you get it? I guess I am kind of leery, b/c we have had bad experiences with avent sippy tops before (if it is that flat kind that you can convert from a bottle to a sippy with). I just want to make sure it doesn't leak like the avent ones do. Thanks!

I was so sick of the plastic sippy cups that I just didn't give one to my LO. He took remarkably well to an open cup (started 10 months or so?). It tooks us a couple of months of being vigilant with it and he got very good at using it without spills. Now he just drinks out of my water bottle when we're out

chel, here's a past discussion you might be interested in checking out:

Which do you recommend in place of a traditional plastic sippy cup?

The sippy cup top is up and coming. Apparently they are partnering with avent for the top and it is supposed to be available in a couple of weeks...and no handle.

Any chance of a co-op in the near future? I am so excited to get rid of all our plastic drinkware but would hate to drop big bucks on KK only to have a co-op start the next week (which, knowing me, is quite likley to happen!)

Thanks!

Ladies, am I crazy or does it look like the sippy top/spout has arrived?
http://www.kleankanteen.com/2product...cessories.html
Click on "sippy spouts" and they have a picture of the top by itself and a "buy" button. Apparently it also needs an adaptor to go with the sippy spout. But I haven't seen the sippy spout on the reusable bags site, which was where I was about to order. Hmmm...

ETA: OK, it looks like the real thing on this link:
http://www.kleankanteen.com/2product...teen-12oz.html
They're offering the 12 oz with the sippy top as a combo.

I spoke with KK again yesterday (they messed up my order, but were very nice in fixing it). The spouts are due in next Wednesday, so any orders placed will ship out then.

purchase your Klean Kanteen sippy cup here

Hey Ladies,

reusablebags.com now carries the Klean Kanteen sippy cup size.
http://www.reusablebags.com/store/kl...tle-p-666.html.

I love the Klean Kanteen bottles - I use the small and large size all of the time.
They've also got some cute stuff for the kids, like lunch bags. My daughter loves the lunchbug in "kitty".

Enjoy.

stainless sippys

Have often, for years, wondered about the safety of plastic when feeding our children.........have told all my daycare moms that I will buy one for their child, if they are going to use them at home........I plan on getting the larger ones for my teen and daughter who is soon off to college
