Rosie gets Star Jones kicked off The View

That is just funny.

"Jones' departure was apparently one of the conditions of Rosie O'Donnell joining the show, a condition Walters and other knew and agreed to when they were courting O'Donnell."

Finally. I so did not like her, why is she famous again?

I say replace them all. I've only seen this show a few times but I've never gotten anything useful out of it. Just blablabla...

I watched The View a few weeks ago for the first time in years. I am not sure if the Starr Jones person is the same woman who used to be a co-host If anyone remembers the show Designing Women, Starr reminds me of how Dixie Carter became....really rude with a overblown sense of self-importance. And the Elisabeth character at the end---give me Lisa Ling any day....and that says a lot!

I don't care for The View at all...but kudos to Rosie O'Donnell for pulling this off

I may start watching again.

Wow, it seems like The View may actually be worth checking out again. If for nothing but all the shake ups.

What'll Star Jones do now? I mean, here she just had her boobs done and now what?

Good riddance - I do not like Star Jones. Not one bit. I do like Rosie though, very much. I just may watch more often now.

Interesting!
I can't stand any of them. I liked Meredith.

I don't like Rosie anymore than Star. What do they only hire people who think there is something wrong with breastfeeding.

it's all to bizarre for me-the show, the mix of personalities, and rosie is not a fit at all imo. it's just a bizarre show! Much like Baba, I guess. (I think I've watched it maybe 4 times in my life and could never make it through an entire show?)

i watch here and there but will miss meredith.....

never been a fan of rosie in anything.....but kudos for getting rid of star...

The show wouldn't be half bad without Star.
I'm sorry, but it looks to me like they need a "fat girl" in order to, um, round out the show.

Whatever. The show sucks and always has. Star or no. They need to just cancel the thing. I'm sure if Walters wasn't behind it, it would have been cancelled long ago.

That show has become a mockery anyway. I used to like it and then, it just started going downhill and the BF stance really made me hate it.
That is hilarious! She is uber annoying.

Star's departure has been slated long before Rosie signed.

I do have to admit that part of me was wishing they'd kept both Star and Rosie just to see what ensued with Star being homophobic and all. I could just imagine the two of them bickering like my kids in the backseat, "Mom, she's touching me!"
I didn't realize Star was homophobic?

I'm glad she is going, she is horrid. I like Rosie, altho I know she is an idiot about breastfeeding. I'm looking forward to seeing her. I might watch again occasionally.

I like Joy Behar too. Can't stand Elizabeth.
