I think I'm coming into my true mommy-ness. Drew has been pulling on his ears off and on since he discovered them and has been teething. But this weekend, he paid way more attention to them than usual. No fever or extra fussiness, but I had a hunch something was going on. I called the pediatrician, but the nurse seemed to think it was probably teething since he didn't have a fever. I wanted an appointment just to be sure. Yup... ear infection.
As opposed to the last appointment Evan had for a bad URI. The doctor wrote a scrip for an antibiotic because he had a "little extra fluid in his ear that could become infected." I didn't fill it. He never complained of any pain and never spiked a fever (which he always does when he get's an ear infection). Two months later and still no infection.
