cradle cap

Daph has gotten cradle cap (even behind her ears). I scratched it off behind her ears cause she was itching at it herself and she seemed to like when I scratched it off and she hasnt tried to scratch it since. I've been putting calendula on it (it makes her head yellow a bit though and her hair looks orange ) I was so sure it was using baby soap that caused it (Jevin got it real bad but he was way smaller when he got it and it lasted a long time for him) but must not be cause I have never used soap at all on her.

Argh, the war against cradle cap seems never-ending...

I saw the first couple of spots of it appearing on Tharen Saturday. Kearnan will be five in a couple of months and he still has cradle cap. I just ignore it because nothing we ever did helped and it bothers him to have me trying to treat it. The cradle cap itself doesn't seem to affect him at all, and his hair is so long and thick that you only notice it when you mess with his hair. I don't know why it bugs me so much. I figure it will eventually go away on its own.

a little goes a long way. After 2 TBS worth of a bottle it was TOTALLY cleared up. I hope it works as well for you! Maybe you couldhj buy a bottle & split it 7 ways for this thread!!!

I took Greyson to a dermatologist to have him look at his tiny little birthmark, since I have great health insurance I figured why not. Anyway, I mentioned the "cradle cap" and he took a look at it. He said it wasn't cradle cap, but excema and to put lotion on it, not use soap, and keep him cool (Greyson, not the doctor).
No more cradle cap since.

Luka, too- he just got it. Nothing's changed around here, so I guess it's either random or due to the heat? Julian still has it at 3, it's really minor but still flaky sometimes.
