That reminds me. I took alfalfa capsules during my twin pregnancy. I forgot about that.

Good for you for doing the infusion. That gets more liquids in you too.

Light a candle for me....

....'cause I'm in labor!

Been contracting and losing my plug for about a week pretty much all the time, but yesterday afternoon the bloody show made an appearance! Then early this morning the ctx started getting progressive and more bloody show-- so I'm going with officially annoucing that I am in labor!!

I am thrilled I'll get to hold my babies so soon!

How wonderful you had your twins at home! I wish I could have found this thread when I was pregnant.
I had a vaginal no drug birth in the hospital that went wonderfully well and will always kick myself that I didnt do it at home. Great job ladies!

Just bumping this thread up so that any other moms expecting twins (like me) can find some homebirth twin stories to reassure them. Anyone else want to add their stories?

birth sticky?

I just thought I'd suggest a multiples natural birth sticky... I am hoping for an out-of-hospital twin birth, and REALLY need to hear some stories from mamas who have been there. I searched for "twins" in the birth stories forum, and found a BILLION posts, many of which had nothing to do with twins (maybe someone's sig said twins?). I searched for "twin homebirths" in several forums at once (multiples, homebirth, vbac, unassisted, ...) and the same thing happened. It sure would be nice to have an easy to find sticky in either the multiples forum or the birth stories forum that makes it easy to find the multiples birth stories. Maybe a sticky in which folks could link to their post in the birth story forum?

Just a thought from a preggo mama who just found out she's expecting twins and is in the mad-paced research phase of it all...

thanks for all the awesome twin birth stores...

hopefully I will have one of my own to share soon- I am going for a UC homebirth

off to take my alfapha capsule now.. I always forget....

I have also heard cayenne tincture and motherwort are good natural ways to stop PPH

I wish I had read this last year before I had my twins! They were breech and transverse so I had a c-section at 34w6d because I was in labor...or so it appeared. If I get pg with twins again, I will definitely be considering an HB, well, even if I get pg with a singelton I will consider it! lol

I switched from an OB to a homebirth midwife at 32 weeks. It was the best thing I could have done! :

You are the third or fourth person I have heard from who switched at 31-32 weeks! That must be the status quo for getting sick of your OB's crap and jumping ship

I am sososososo glad to hear from all these supportive mamas, you have NO idea.
