Well from one who 'induced' on Monday~ I will say that I was already in some pretty good labor(still early & not active though) since my last 3 births were less than 3 hours from start to finish & I live more than an hour from the hospital (& since once we got there it took over an hour for them to get the L& D open) I would have had a ER dr at best case & delivered on the side of the road worst case~ I am OK with my decision~ I knew that once labor was looking more likely we were going to push things along~ We also learned during the labor & since that I definetly had been leaking & not resealing we just don't know for how long~ It was a dry birth & I would not have thought it was possible but there was never a gush of fluid(which I had with all my other births) & when the MW tried to break my bag instead of giving me Pit she ended up scratching Storms head~
I am rambing but I agree with Syndee we all need to understand that we here at Mothering make choices that each may not agree with but I firmly believe that each of us here make educated choices based on our research & our current situation~
Warmly,
Melissa
