Alrighty then. Very good episode. They showed a Hanso commercial with a website address. I went to the site and here is what I found.

It is sublymonal.com. It took forever to load. When it did they was a circle with what appears to be tv screens with the word obey in the middle. You can only click on one of them at a time. They will turn very bright and then the next one will be unlocked to click on. I am not positive what the series of clicks are to turn it bright, I just kept doing different combinations of holding in and double clicking. I got all of them bright and it brought me to another screen. This screen has the message sublymonal message unlocked with a computer screen above it. The computer screen flashes the following: code: Heir Apparent
Not sure what it means or where to use the code, but I figure someone else will know.

No it was the psychic definitely. I think he lied to Ekko though. He really did have the ability to see things. He just didn't want the church involved or something.

In the Dharma orientation video, did the doctor say his name was Mark Wickham? That's what it sounded like, but I thought it was the same man from the others in which he introduced himself as Marvin Candle.

I am so glad that Sayid is supsicious of Michael. It's hard to say if it's just because we know, but Michael just seems off.

can someone explain why ecko is now all into the 'work' john has been doing in the hatch [aka pushing the button]? i can't figure that part out, so maybe i missed some crucial bit of dialogue.

regardless, i love mr ecko backstory episodes. he's so intriguing

Ok you guys are freaking me out. We just watched the entire episode (all the way from the end of Alias which comes on just before it to the beginning of Invasion which comes on after it) and we never once saw Sayid. Why are you saying that he suspects Michael? Did they cut something out or something on our station? that would be sooooo not cool! I will freak out if that's the case!

Someone PLEASE fill me in! I'm dying here!

LOL, I was thinking the same thing.

I think they are talking about the preview for next week. I didn't see anything about Claire's psychic though --that must have been from another episode.

I watched most of the episode but the bit about Sayiid comes in the preview to next week's episode. He and Jack are walking on the beach and Sayiid tells Jack that "Michael has been compromised."

This episode was the payoff I was waiting for. I knew the whole button pushing thing was an experiment of some kind. But there was a camera in the Pearl Hatch too. So are the watchers being watched too?

Michael creeps me out. The looks he was giving Libby and the last shot of him in the lockup room made me feel scared for the rest of the group. I'm more inclined to think he shot Libby and Ana Lucia out of his own free will than brainwashing. Libby is dead, right? Too bad no one understood what she meant by Michael.

Wow! They couldn't have done a better job making people not like Michael last night! I don't care how much you want your son back-You shouldn't kill other people!! And Hurley telling Michael he was glad he was okay..Grrr..Not liking Michael right now!!

My first thought when I saw the losties were being filmed in the hatch was that there is probably a video of Michael shooting AL and Libby..I hope he gets busted.

I loved Eko's dreams. Very interesting how his brother was guiding him to the right place to find the other hatch.

Did anyone notices the copyright date on the video? 1980. And it was "5 of 6" on the training video. I wonder if that means there are 6 hatches.

I'm totally hooked!! We have two episodes left, right?

I was thinking that, too. Also, I think there will be a record of Michael's conversations with "Walt" on those logs somewhere.

The "dead" girl in Eko's flashbacks really freaked me out, too. And I had chills all over my body listening to the autopsy report. Creepy. Is this some sort of foreshadowing like that Libby will come back from the dead? I can't believe they would kill her off w/o at least one flashback show to clear up (yeah right!) the mental hospital and all that stuff.

Notice on the commercial for Hanso....it says on the left bottom "paid for by sprite"

I thought Michael was doing this to get his son back.....now Im not so sure. He went to some extremes. He could have left with Henry and NOT shot the women......then explained that he let him go to get walt. No one would have blamed him for that.

She sounded like she had to accent to me. It wasn't as pronounced as her parents but it was there.

When Eko head butted Locke...did something weird happen with Ekos eyes.
He looked all otherslike when he did it .. like his eyes shook back and forth rapidly..

is that why sublymonal sounds familiar? It's a Sprite catch phrase??

I totally didn't catch the psychic was Claire's psychic. I wish Libby had said "Michael, shot" or something to give them a clue.

That was definitly Claire's psychic. He looked familiar but I couldn't place him until he said his wife knew his psychic abilities were fake. I too think he was lying to Eko, that he wanted Eko on that plane as much as he wanted Claire on that plane.

The girl did have a accent, just not a strong one. I presumed it was because she was young and possibly a new actress who doesn't know how to keep an accent or give off a strong one.

The whole episode made me feel like WE are the experiment.

I wonered about the cameras in the monitoring room too. The video said that everyone that they were to be monitoring feels their job is the most important but that could be said the same for those who are monitoring & reporting what is happening in the other hatches.

I am curious though, the other orientations were done in earlier years on film, this last one seemed to be a techonologically advanced from the other orientation films.
