this is my 40 wk appt going by my first due date. My other due date is the 18th. I put on 2 lbs and it brings me back to a total gain of 20 lbs. I am now 75% effaced and 4 cm dialated and still at station 1. No signs of going into labor but the doc did say my bag of waters is really bulging and I could go at any time. I'm not holding my breath but my mom and mil did say they've never been that much dialated w/out being in labor.

I still don't feel like it's going to happen but I'm sure it will take me by surprise when it does happen. Wish me luck that this will be my last pg appt!!!

And walk walk walk! And drink lots of water.
Before ds, I didn't know people could walk around this dialated, but it's definitely possible. I was 4cm, 90% and my bag of waters bulging for three weeks, but once active labor started it was only 4 hours and pretty easy compared to my first birth.
