the only lotion I found that really helped is the new Aveeno cream in the jar with the navy blue lid....I can't remember the name...it has dimethicone and menthol and works amazingly well!

I AM THE QUEEN OF BELLY ITCH! The occasional under-da-boob itch too and I have found that oil works better than lotion-I used Weleda baby calendula oil and it worked!

Is it just stretchy-skin itchy, or is it something more like PUPPS where you have a rash?

I make my own oil mix & it works great. On days I skip it, I definately feel the difference. I like to use olive oil, jojoba, or sweet almond oil & add a few drops of lavendar EO. After the shower, while still wet, I apply it to my whole body, then pat dry. It feels great all day. If I am taking a bath, I add the oil right to the bath water - same results.

Just stretchy skin itch. I've never used oil b/c I couldn't figure out how to do it without then getting my shirt all oily--even when I put it on, rub it in, and then try to wipe down, my clothes still get icky. What am I missing?

Hmmmm, maybe you are using too much? You really only need a small amount. Jojoba may be your best bet, as it is readily absorbed & most like the make up of your own natural oil production. Otherwise, maybe oil is just not a good match for your skin type? If that is the case, I'd get a really nice, all natural lotion from your health food store.
