sippy cup madness - Page 2

We also have one drawer in the kitchen for all the kids sippy cups, bowls, and plates. I keep a sort of basket in the drawer for all the sippy cups and parts. I thinned down a while back and it stayed very organized, but some of the grandparents recently gave our kids about 6-8 new larger drinking cups that have attached straw things and screw on lids, so now the drawer is a mess again. Sigh... I'll have to thin them again!

I the idea of a cabinet/drawer of their own. I am definitely going to do this in my kitchen. He's going to LOVE it.

Thank you wise mamas!

I agree that you should buy all one brand so you don't have to worry about which lids fit on which cups. I HATED Avent - too many pieces and it broke my fingernails trying to get them taken apart to wash...

I only buy ones that nest in each other for better storage. We use Playtex as I like the insert best - easy to get in and out, and easy to clean. We also have the Munchkin lidded cups with straws (Costco sold Dora sets a while back; I bought one set then received another set from a friend so we have eight of those!)

I cannot imagine surviving on TWO sippy cups for two kids though! We have the eight Munchkin cups, plus at least eight Playtex, and four - no, eight - of the Tupperware only-mildly-spillproof ones. But my kids drink a lot, and we have a lot of friends over.
