bring on the full moon!

anyone else anxiously anticipating the full moon? my due date is 5/14, so i'm hoping maybe the moon will have just enough pull....
Yes! I'm having weak contractions right now. More than BH, but nothing really strong, and only a little regular. We went out to dinner and noticed that the moon was really full and I just checked and it's full on Sat. the 13th, which is the day I was hoping she'd be born (anniversary of me and dh's first date). So....maybe!

Yup, we're hoping for this weekend too.Frankly, last weekend would not have hurt.... Dh has scheduled a 2 week vacation for the birth, and says if they ask him for overtime to day,I need to go into labor,so he can call in and stay home. NO PRESSURE!!!

Me too! I am due 5/14 and really would like to go today (which is a beautiful day here in Virginia!) or tomorrow! Actually anytime this weekend would be great. I've been feeling some more signs...some cervical twinges and what not. I am ready for our baby to come!!!!!!!

I was due two days ago but I'm just not convinced the moon is going to do anything that thunderstorms, sex, my daily cuppa RRL and just normal living hasn't done already.

I was pretty crampy and contracting a lot yesterday evening though, so maybe the full moon will have affect, I dunno. :

eta: tonight would be PERFECT because dh's leave at work is unpaid (new job) so that would give us two free days of babymooning.

Today is MIL's bday, tomorrow full moon and then Mother's Day.... and so many people have reason to believe that the birth will happen on their favorite of those 3 days... I'm FINE with that.

I had this theory in the beginning and now I'm curious to see if it happens.

My first was born on a Friday, in the 37th week.
Second was born on a Saturday, in the 42nd week.
Third was born on a Thursday, but in the 36th week.
Fourth was born on a Wednesday in the 38th week.
Fifth was born on a Tuesday during the 41st week.
Sixth was born on a Sunday, of the 39th week.

SO.... my theory has been that this baby would come on a Monday of the 40th week.... that is Monday May 15.

This leaves us with:
today, May 12, MIL's birthday-- odds? Bets?
tomorrow, May 13, full moon-- whaddaya think?
Sunday, May 14, Mother's day-- my friend J will buy me Lamme's if I birth this day
Monday, May 15-- will fulfill my established Pattern and make it Complete

My MIL is supposed to bring my 3 youngest children home on Tues the 16th, and my parents are arriving Weds the 17th for a four-day stay.

Drumroll?????

Hey, I forgot about the full moon. I'll have to schedule another husbandly induction for that night just in case the moon needs a little help.

DH is off on Mother's Day already, but that's a Sunday...I don't want to go into labor during Mass (one of my biggest anxieties! ). My doula also goes to church on Sundays and if I were to go into labor while she was at Mass, I wouldn't be able to get in touch with her. I can't believe I worry about the stupidest things...my history so far is labor starting in the wee hours of the morning, not on the way up to receive Communion.

I'm thinking that Saturday or Sunday would be great choices ! Ah, if only we got to pick, right?! I saw my mw yesterday and she swears that I won't make it to my 40 week appointment next Friday. I'm sure I'll prove her wrong though! I feel WAY too good to be that close to having this baby.

I emailed dh at work to remind him that I'd like his help tonight, not that I'm so sure it will do anything but at least we can get another round in before the baby comes.

Well, that would be why it's worded "using". : I don't have any drive either TBH, except I did wake up this morning having a flaming hot dream but dh had already left for work.

eta: he just replied to my email with the promise of exercise. For some reason that has me

I think it is exercise to try to have sex at this stage of the game, is it not?!

O.K not to get too into the subject, but lack of energy aside,it's almost phisically impossible, here, and not very "comfy".Not my current favorite option lately.(The whole "using"dh for "exersize"... )

I'm certainly not moving in a sensuous manner , but I can still manage the position most commonly referred to with a canine metaphor.

I am tired. I am soooo tired. I am ready to get this baby out.

Spooning, girls. Spooning.
Okay, this is way TMI I'm sure... but spooning just doesn't do it for either us. Maybe an anatomy issue or something. Yeah, gotta love the canine thing ...

the frame to my Amby hammock holds 200 lbs. I'm only 150. Suddenly there's some support there for me on top again. What a concept! Off to try it.

(Hey, we have to find SOMETHING to do while we wait for this baby to come. )

P.S. Also bouyancy of the Fishy Pool makes life easier too....
