OH, my aching hips!

Holy crap, have I ever got some serious waddling going on already. Sheesh. My hips are KILLING me!

Anyone else? And is it just me, or is it worse this pregnancy than the first time around?

Well, as a first timer I can't say if it is worse but I can say I am definately waddling a bit. I am making a deliberate effort not to but I can still feel that my walk is really different!!! God knows what kind of fool I will look like in 3 months!
My hips only hurt off and on though and even then it is usually sciatic pain so for now, while my hips have definately spread, I have a short lived reprieve!

Oh yes! My hips have been killing me for a couple months already. And yes, it has gotten worse with each pregnancy. Number 4 is a killer.

No waddling yet, but the second half of the night my hips are so sore, sometimes I have to just stand up and stretch next to bed for a few minutes and give them a break.

My whole pelvic area is sore on all sides at night... I can't pinpoint what it is, but when I turn from one side to the other (which is quite the effort now, let me tell you!) things are sore all over. It's the weirdest thing, I wish I could figure it our. I don't think it's symphisis pubis, cause the discomfort is kind of lower & more spread out.

Sorry to ramble & hijack the hip pain thread!

Yep! It hurts to get into the car. It feels like my left leg is going to just fall off and dangle outside the car. Yesterday I was walking through the grocery store and my left hip joint started hurting really bad. I could barely walk on it. I leaned on the cart a lot and got my shopping done but it wasn't fun. Luckily dh was home to carry them all in for me.

I asked the dr about it yesterday (not my reg ob one of her partners) and he wasn't much help at all. He gave me the name of another dr who could maybe help me but he made it sound like I'd have to get a referral from my family dr (that I haven't seen in like 2 years) so I figured I'll just tough it out and talk to my ob about it next time. I'm also going to look around online to see if I can find anything.

I am definitely a big waddler but no pain as of yet <knocking on wood>. In fact I often hum the "I am a wanderer.." song in my head but with the word waddler instead Clearly I need to get out more because it amuses me everytime

That's awesome! Now if you can just remain amused at 36 weeks....
