Lets try this just for fun :

Let's write an interactive poem using the form af Haiku or seyrru.

Write three lines and the next person will compose another Haiku using the last line of yours.

Ex/

the stars penetrate the night
new moon is unseen
he holds my hand in the dark

The next person will compose a poem using "he holds my hand in the dark" as the first line.

I know, I know...not the best Haiku, but off of the top of my head. Feel free to write a senyru as well bc they have the same syllable structure. For definitions of Haiku and Senyru check the other threads. Feel free to use this one as a starting point or compose a new one.

silence eyes open
we awaken in the dream

Can we take any line or concept except the previously posted one instead? I don't think the last line to first line process will work with Senryu being that the last line is usually the 'aha' moment and can't really come first.

Not meaning to be picky but Haiku and Senryu are about concrete observations - emotional content is only ever alluded to - that's what creates the "aha!" The reader participates by creating an image.
