Gearing up...

This morning I woke up pretty achy and thought if I just went poop it would relieve the pressure (like it always does for the past week or so) and I'd be more comfortable. Not today! My pelvis is killing me, no matter what I do. Just when this was starting to get me down, I lost my mucus plug! Yes, I know that can happen well before labor, and I'm trying to not get too excited, but I can't help thinking that with the full moon last night, today's my due date and mother's day, my pelvis is obviously up to something, and the plug, things will be happening soon! How much time lapsed between you losing your plug and labor starting?

My aunt is a nurse and was telling my mom she's sure for me it will be in the next day or so just because I'm overdue and the waning of the full moon is when a lot of women go into labor. Who knows?

I've never lost a mucous plug so can't answer you there! (I think because I've always been dialated at least a couple of cm already when labor began)

I lost my mucous plug bit by bit... I'd have a chunk come out, then I guess it just kept making more mucous... sometimes huge globs fall out... it's been going on and on for 3-4 weeks now. "They" moved my due date from May 17 (what I had been calling it) to May 10 and apparently I was closer to being right than they were.

I lost my mucous plug @ night on the 5th and had my DD early morning on the 7th. Labored for 2 days.
