Waning moon, thunderstorms, 90 deg.

We're due for record-breaking highs here in the PNW this week. Today it's supposed to be 90. If it ever gets to 90 here it's usually in July or August. I never expected to have to pull out my maternity clothes from last pg (which was in the summer). I'm not even sure where they are! I think we're going to plan to go to this fabulous fountain downtown with friends and let the kids get wet all afternoon.

But then we've got the waning moon, and we're also due for thunderstorms (again, pretty unusual around here)...I wonder how many mamas will be going into labor around here. This is actually one of my big, irrational fears--that I won't get to birth at the birthcenter because there won't be room (it happened last time).

So on the one hand, I really hope I go into labor today! On the other, I hope that if I do no one else does (selfish, I know). Likely, I'll just keep myself from actually going into labor on this fear alone!

it is really cold for May here in TN. I actually had to turn the heater on.
Anyway here's hoping you are the only mama in labor in the entire birth center

Wow, crazy weather!

It's cold here... I finally turned on the heat because it was only 60 degrees in the house. I was hoping it would warm up before the baby comes, but since I'm "overdue" now I don't want to wait on the weather!

I hope things work out perfectly so you can get your BC birth!!

It's chilly here too. Usually it should be in the 90s here, but we've got daytime temps barely hitting 80 and at night it's dipped down to 57, 59.

DH put my birth pool on the porch for me yesterday as a MD treat and had to fill it warmer than usual because the air temp was only 68 or so. It was lovely though... great way to spend the afternoon that was otherwise painfully depressing. None of my kids were home... half at Gran's and half at a friend's.

90 is really HOT for the PNW! It's unseasonably cold here too, and rainy, rainy, rainy. Yuck.

Hope the wacky weather works in your favor .
