I just wanted to say quickly that my beautiful, incredible son was born yesterday, at home, on mother's day, at 4:30 pm after 14 excrutiating hours... it was the hardest thing I've ever done, but so worth it in the end!!!!
He's just gorgeous, and my DH and I have fallen crazy in love...
Birth story to come
BTW, since the May mamas have had such beautiful names so far, let me explain Remy's name a little: "Remiel" is the Archangel of hope (sometimes also called Uriel, I think) and was also a character in Neil Gaiman's series, The Sandman. "Sayid" is an Arabic name (normally spelled Said, but we like the "y") which means either "Happy" or "Master."
