How wide is a GypsyMama (or other brand) wrap?

I posted about this on thebabywearer but I guess nobody wants to whip out the tape measure. Could a few people please tell me how wide your wrap is? I think there's a lot of variation between brands so I wanted to do a brand comparison, as it were. I have one wrap that's only 20 inches wide - is that typical or are most wraps quite a bit wider?

The reason I ask is that I am making a wrap for a friend's baby shower and I am trying to figure out if it would be best to use the whole piece of fabric for one wrap, or if I can reasonably make two out of it. Thanks!

i think 20" is pretty typical. i have my wrap here and will measure it in a minute, as soon as i'm finished nak. hopefully that will result in a successful transfer to the moses basket. if it doesn't...well...then i'll measure it later. :

My Mobey is 22.5 in wide. If you follow the DIY links on TBW, there is one that recomends cutting a length of fabric in half. many fabrics are 45" so that would give you the 22.5".
