DD is having lots of green poo. I can't remember what this means and probably should cross-post in Living with a Babe but thought I'd see if anyone else is having this or knows anything about it.. It's kind of weird. She is having a sort of snotty nose thing going on...should I be worried?

Not in your ddc, but wanted to respond. It could be a milk allergy. Especially if she's got a snotty nose. Do you eat any dairy?
It can also be a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance. Try feeding her on one side during a feeding so that she's able to get all the hindmilk. Then start on that breast at the next feeding as well.

Livi has always had greenish pooh. At first, I was freaked out she wasn't getting the hindmilk, but then she put on pounds like a champ. She's a chunker now. Anyway, my doc said some babes always have green pooh and it's nothing to worry about if they're gaining weight well and don't otherwise seem uncomfortable.

We had nothing but green poo (plus one bloody diaper
) here until around 9 weeks, but it has been golden since. There are two theories I heard, and I addressed both so I don't know which worked.
The books say fore/hindmilk imbalance, so I nursed differently and I noticed my supply changing too.
My ped says it is the bacterial tranisition in the digestive tract caused by a variety of things.
Kate's poo also became the good golden once I went on the elimination diet.
Watch what you eat and nurse a long time and see if it goes away.

Drew had very green slimy poo when he had a bad cold recently. The greens went away after the cold was gone. I think all the draining snot upset his tummy.

What the others have said about too much foremilk. Carys has green poo if she doesn't do a complete feed on one side. She also gets green poo when she's got a cold or is going through a serious bout of teething (all the drool she swallows).
