What is it?

It's fermented black or green tea. The culture that is used to ferment the tea looks like a mushroom. It's reputed to have many health benefits, including cancer prevention and as an adjunct to cancer treatment.

TART!!! Like apple cider vinegar ... or maybe I just made it too strong. I had to dilute mine with some wild berry zinger to get it down.

Sherry, you might want to cut back on your ferment time. It should taste more like apple cider and less like apple cider vinegar if you cut your ferment time down.
