OMG! I am spotting!....UPDATED-confirmed to be miscarrying...

05/15:

I cannot believe this! I am spotting some brownish red blood mixed with mucus and am starting to cramp. I am only 6 weeks and I am really getting upset over this. I cannot stop crying. I hope that my decision to use Natural Progesterone Cream instead of Prometrium pills isnt going to lead this to a ................ miscarriage!

I have to go now. I cannot even bare to sit here anymore....

UPDATE:05/16 morning

I had more brownish red spotting today when I wipe so my CPM just spoke to a close colleague, a CNM that part owns a medical practice with an OB. (I have met this CNM before and she is awesome.) I am going to see the CNM at her office today for a vitality type ultrasound to see what is going on. I fear the worst right now, but I am praying for the best. If anyone believes in a higher power, any thoughts/prayers are so greatly appreciated. I live alone in my city, my family and close friends are all in another state, and being alone during this time is rough. Also my husband is in the Police Academy and cannot get any time off or get any calls. I appreciate all your support mamas.

UPDATE:05/16 evening

Well I went to the CNM office today. Had a u/s. All they saw was some fluid in the uterus. Nothing else. They tested my urine with a preg test and it was a very faint second line, which should be super bold by now. So we were pretty sure this pregnancy was ending. To be completely sure she ordered another blood test to compare to the test I originally had on 05/05. She ordered this blood test as a STAT so she got the results this evening and called me.
Here are the original results from 5/5
HCG: 88 Prog: 12.7
And todays results 5/16
HCG: 188 Prog: 15 (took prometrium last night so it may of helped)

So as you can see the HCG is waaaaaaaaaaaaay low for this far along. She said that she is fairly certain this pregnancy is ending.

I just wanted to let you all know it was a nice ride with you all while it lasted. I am now greeving, but trying to be strong for my daughter. I appreciate everyones support thru this and I wish you all the best in your pregnancies.

Kindest Regards,
LAURA

I just wanted to respond, cause I know how freaked out you must be...

I spotted quite a bit throughout my 1st trimester with light cramps, and ended up in triage twice and at my doctor's for an emergency visit once.

The good news is you can call tomorrow and possibly get a viability ultrasound, if you have an OB already.

I hope all goes well for you... it's SO scary, I know.

Hugs,
erin

Hi laura,

I've always heard that brown blood shouldn't be a concern all on it's own. It is the bright red blood. Please give us an update.

First of all,

Second, my mom just told me yesterday that when she was pregnant with me, she had spotting (brown blood) and some light cramps and everything ended up fine...I hope the same is true for you!
