I am due 05/24 and have a ds who is almost 2. Long story short: an undetected case of mastitis early on left me with a very scary-looking breast lump, the biopsy yieled inconclusive results and created a huge fistula, and I began to wean him prematurely at 9 months to have surgery. He last nursed around 11 months. He transitioned to goat's milk with no apparent problems. I tried to relactate when he was 18 months old but had no luck.
So, now the milk wagon is coming back to town!
I would be happy to nurse ds a few times/day until he goes to kidnergarten. Has anybody else's toddler gone back to the breast when the milk came in again? Is there anything I could do to encourage this? Is it actually a bad idea for some reason?

PUMPING! Of course! He can have my milk, and I can avoid any biting/toddler NIP/competing-with-his-baby-sister issues! I can't believe I didn't think of that!
