okay, i have a basic understanding of these diseases, but i need more info on the pros and cons of the vaccines, and why people choose to get or not get them. if anyone has a few minutes to give me some linkys or some info, i would be very grateful! these are the only 2 vaccines i dont feel like i totally get.

Wrong insert - that's pneumovax. Wyeth makes Prevnar. There are lots of interesting links & thinks in this one:
