I don't want to sound the alarm bells here, but couldn't this fall under the no religious discussion and no external discussion rules?

Yeah, I don't get what the OP finds bothersome.

As a born-again Christian, I believe in circumcision of the spirit. That does not make in any way in favor of physical RIC.

I'm a Christian and I have no idea what the link is talking about. If anyone has the English translation,, let me know!

To me it sounded like he was praising circumcision. I'm not evne talking about the religious parts of the post - just where he mentions circumcision.

I wouldn't think so seeing as that religion doesn't require circumcision so therefore the circumcision has nothing to do with religion.

I don't think he is talking about physical circ. It sounds like he is talking about purity of heart and showing love and commitment to God through our actions toward others. It sounds to me that he would agree with those who say that circ is no longer needed as a sign of commitment to God per the New Testement.

This thread does violate the rule of linking to other discussions and religious dicsussion. The topic seems much more appropriately hosted in Religious Studies.
