1 day of gross AF, temps high, what's up?

We are not (NOT!) TTC right now.

At about 9 DPO, my temps started to go higher, as though they were becoming triphasic. Then at about 12 DPO, I thought AF came, but I only had it for one day. (TMI: It was really clotty and brown/black.) Then it went away again and my temps are still high. I did a HPT this morning, but not with my FMU, and it was negative. This would be either 14 DPO or the 3rd day of a new cycle.

Now of course I thought, oops, this is implantation bleeding, but it is thick and dark like AF can be. And still not a + on a HPT. Does this mean I am ill? Could it be something bad? Or can implantation bleeding be old and dark? What could make AF just stop? Usually it is heavy and painful.

very interesting. With that chart, I would've thought you were pregnant. I would call your OB/GYN and ask about it. They may want to do a test in their office and examine you.

I can't get ovusoft to publish my chart to the web, but since my period hasn't come, it took away my ovulation date! I guess it must be anovulatory. I looked at old charts and I always had 5-7 days of EWCF and no low temps during the LP, so this chart now just looks like it is all over the place. I am still confused as to why I had 1 day of AF, though.

Is this your first PP period? Maybe the first period was actually a warning period without ovulation, and this was the "real" thing?

I would probably call and see if you could get a beta done just to be certain you aren't pregnant and having an early m/c. I had what you are describing around 7 weeks post partum and it turned out I had a nasty uterine infection. I would probably have it checked out just to make sure.,

Nope, this should be my 3rd cycle pp.

Maybe I am ill in some way. My temp was 98.9 this morning! That is not normal.

It would take a miracle for me to be pg b/c we never did it close to any fertile day and we always pull n pray.

A temp that high in the am could very well signal pregnancy.

Got AF last night and temp was 98.1 this am.
