George David has arrived!

Just a quick note to say that George David arrived on May 12th at 4:17 pm. He weighed in at 8 lbs, 20 inches long.

We had an amazing, intense natural hospital birth and I'll post the whole story and some pics later on. He is doing great, latched on like a pro 10 minutes after birth and bf is going well. We just got back from the birth clinic today.

Also wanted to say that when labor got tough, I just thought about how much CindyCaz went through to have her natural birth and it inspired me to keep going!!

Am looking forward to catching up on all the other births on the board....

Congrats mama, and I'm sooo glad you were able to have the birth you wanted. Mine is still a blur, so I don't feel like I did anything special, but I'm glad it helped you through the rough spots. The quick healing is so worth the pain. Have a great babymoon!

De-lovely, George is named after both of his grandfathers. Two wonderful men, and we loved both of the names. We're thinking that his nickname will be Geo....
