Penis Problems- Phimosis Related?

Hmm... Well this is embarassing.

In short I suffered from phimosis until a little while ago when I manually cured it. When I finally did expose my glans I noticed that around the urethral opening there was some slight redenning, seemingly some irritation from urine.

In addition around the back of the head there was a somewhat unsightly sort of purple mark that ran around the top but not down the sides or anywhere near the frenulum. It seems sort of slightly raised while flaccid but once erect seems to stretch out to fit, just looking like a different shade.

Neither of these have caused me any form of pain of discomfort but I am not really sure how to rid myself of them either. The purple mark is perplexing and my attempts to keep urine away from the opening tend to fail thanks to...Uh...Dribbling.

Could anyone give me some advice? I just wanted to know what it could be or something along those lines...

The purple mark sounds like a stretch mark from your stretching (I assume that's what you did to manually cure it). The reddening may be irritation from the glans being newly exposed. Unless it's itching or painful, I wouldn't worry about it.

My first thought on the redness since it is causing u some burning is maybe a touch of yeast or fungal infection?? U could use a over the counter yeast med. like monistate not sure they have that were u are tho. Just any cream u can get that woman use for yeast. Maybe get a swab done to make sure. The purple line could be a stretch mark since they do usually start out purple like if that is it then it should fade over time.

Could be a stretch mark, although I have not really been stretching the head itself, just the skin which is as mark free as it should be.

The redness is not causing me any burning...

Some of the pictures I have seen on the net have a purple ring maybe it is normal?

They can show up ANYWHERE. trust me.

Sorry it took so long. Dh got home and was hungry and the kids were outside playing so I had to run back and forth . This is the only picture I could come up with. prolly not even close to what u were talking about but there is a faint purple line there on the shaft. Mine is a lot darker and more pronounced towards that back area that you can see in the last two.

That does show the affected area though.

Call me goofy, but if it isn't hurting you or causing discomfort it probably is normal. I have seen similar stuff in intact photos on the web. How have things changed since you stretched things out?

Well things have just become visible really, previously I could not actually see any of this stuff (which made for quite a few suprises actually) so things have changed in that sense.

Or were you meaning more generally?

Aha--so you've never seen the inner mucosal skin before.... It does look quite different from what I hear....like an internal organ.

No wonder that you're wondering. I have a friend who had the same response the first time her DS retracted. She was like...wow...it is so red! Apparently that is what it is like, more like the skin on the inside of your cheek...

So, maybe it is just "new to you..."

Does it bear any resemblence to the color/texture of female genetalia? Just wondering. Honestly have not seen any intact men upclose. DH was cut here as a baby and everything is all dried out and brown . He is taking steps towards restoring, but only manual at this point. So, no change in the glans as of yet.

I believed that my raphe was a scar from an operation I had as an infant for quite some time, also suspecting that my frenulum was some variety of awful scarring from it the first time I saw it.

The internal organ thing is exactly right, except it is not really "Like" an internal organ, it is an internal organ, as it is meant to be. Perhaps mine is a little more covered that most but it only gets exposed when I am erect or retract it so yes, it is slightly like the inside of a vagina. Moist, warm and very sensitive unless I leave it in the open for too long.

Actually on second thoughts the moisture only normally comes while erect when it releases lube. Maybe TMI there? Anyway, yes it is slightly like the cheek lining and there really is quite a lot of stuff underneath there, the frenulum being the most distinctive part. It does not look anything like most of the cut cocks you normally see in porn and such.

But the purple mark really is unusual...
