I have a bunch from DD and several GN neutral ones that I bought while TTC but I havent bought any since finding out IM pregnant. Id like to find out the gender first. Is anyone else waiting?

I bought one lone diaper right after I found out I was pregnant......I couldn't help it they are so dang cute!!
Right now we are planning on making most of the dipes that I am going to need (mostly because dd is going to need new dipes too!), so I'm kinda holding off on that part until I know the gender.

I'm waiting too, although I am on the lookout for cute fluff. I'm hoping to make some as well. I'm waiting to buy the prefold package I want to get since that's kinda steep.
We're not finding out the gender, so I might buy/make some of each & sell the ones we won't use.

I'm definitely waiting. I haven't bought a single thing for this baby (my first). I figure I still have almost 7 months.... not to mention that I haven't even begun to research diapers.

I haven't bought any yet, but two people have given me some! Actually, they're size small, so not really for newborn use unless I have a monster baby.
I plan to make a bunch of diapers in newborn and small sizes once we find out the gender (if we find out the gender), and if we can't find out the gender, I'll probably make some of each and sell off the gender we don't need. But given how I've NOT been sewing all first trimester, I think sewing twice as many diapers as I need might be pushing it.
I already have prefolds from DS - size preemie and up. He came home at 4 lbs 12 oz, so we really did use the preemie size! And I used newborn size covers with him (Proraps mostly at first, and then Bummis SWW when he got to 7 lbs and actually fit in newborn size of those). I might need to make some more newborn size covers, but those are pretty quick and easy to whip out - just a one layer PUL cover bound in FOE is easy peasy. If I really had to, I could probably do it while #2 naps in the sling.
ETA: I guess I also still need to MAKE a sling... Gave my old one away to a new mama that *really* needed it.

I already have flats (b/c somehow, as amazing as it seems now, my 30 pound toddler was once too small for infant sized prefolds!), UB Infant CPFs, and a few Kissaluv 0's, and 7 infant sized covers. I really have everything I need, but I may splurge on a cute cover or tow and a few more Kissaluvs. I also am planning to knit a couple pairs of longies or soakers for babe...hope I actually get around to doing it!

I am waiting to see if we find out the gender, and then I will buy some. I am hoping I won't go over board, so maybe by waiting I will have a little better chance. I do have some covers and prefolds already.

I am waiting to buy the bulk of my diapers. DH was not keen on CD at all so I went and bought an adorable froggy bummi SWW and a green newborn kissaluvs and a yellow fuzzi bunz. When he saw how amazing the technology is and I agreed to do the laundry (I do all the laundry anyway) he said we could go ahead and buy the smallest sizes. However, he wants to see how they work before we buy any larger ones.
I am really set on CD because of the financial and health benefits. I have been looking on line a little and will check out the TP when I have access (I am still too new).

I haven't bought a single diaper yet. I really want to, but as this will be our first time CDing, I'm apprehensive about buying the right stuff in the right amount. It's really overwhelming as to how many choices there are. And everybody has their preference. I don't have a babe in diapers now, so I can't really buy a couple of different sorts to try out. I'm having the same problem with slings! Too many choices!! Not the worst problem to have

My kids have mainly worn MotherEast one size so that's what I'll use for the next one too. I may get a few newborn prefolds or fitteds for the tiny phase. I'm sure I need a few covers too.

I'm waiting. I won't need diapers if we have a boy and won't need any newborn diapers at all. If we have a girl I'll pick up a couple girl things though.

I've got a stash going, but I don't know how well they'll work.
I've got mutiple sizes in mutiple brands.
I do plan on making some more in newborn and small.
I also hope that I'll get some as gifts. (wish wish wish)
I know I'll need to get some Pre-Folds and I really like Kissaluvs, i hope they work for the baby so I can buy some.
We're not finding out gender, but I don't really care at this point. I've got both hearts and John-Deere.
I keep an eye out on CL and 2nd. hand stores. I also sew, so will be making more of my own as well.
Overall, unless I find an awesome deal, then I'll wait for the most part to find out what system works best for us.

I don't sew, but I do knit. I'm thinking of trying making some longies. I guess I should cruise over to the craft forum and get some links for good patterns.
I keep thinking I should just haul off and buy some dipes of a few different kinds just to see what they're like IRL.

I have the VB fitted & cover patterns that I'll use. Might modify one or the other to make some AIO's.

waiting. I want to make my diapers, but I don't know if that will happen. I'm definitely going to order some CPFs to dye but I'm set on covers. I'll also get some kissaluvs and swaddlebees fitteds too but I'm not going hog wild on the newborn fluff. I'm buying the cuter stuff in bigger sizes.

I was planning on waiting....but.....
My sister who has 4 kiddos ages 7 and under, found a sale online for swaddlebees (still going on btw...) $10 for their original swaddlebees with an insert included. Even though this is our first, I feel pretty confident that what has worked well for my sis, will work for us (my dh and her husband are both tall and skinny, and we come from the same gene pool - lol)...so I went ahead and bought 3 smalls and 3 mediums in GN colors, since we are not finding out the gender beforehand...
I also have been researching cloth nappies, since we will be moving to London in Sept (when I am about 24 weeks), and I have been unable to find the great selection of CD over in the UK that we have in the US. So, I think I will be making some more purchases, slowly over the next few months.
I too am completely overwhelmed at how many options there are!!! Would any Mama out there be interested in saying how many cloth diapers got them through their first child (birth to potty training)? I am setting up an online registry for my family and am trying to figure out how many diapers of each size I will need. I would like to do Kissaluvs for newborn, and transistion into pocket diapers (swaddlebees, happy heinys etc). My DH will be a stay at home Dad for the first year while I am finishing my Masters degree, so I want something simple for him to use....
