are you giving up coffee? - Page 2

I don't intend to drink caffeinated beverages. I have some decaf English Breakfast tea I really like...I'll stick to that.

I don't drink coffee or tea, but I love diet soda with vanilla. I was drinking 1-2 a day before I found out I am pregnant. My Dr. said to limit to one drink with caffeine per day. But with all the dizziness and morning sickness, I haven't had the stomach for my diet Coke. I guess that's a good thing. I'm stictly water, no-fat milk and one glass of orange juice a day.

I gave it up with my last pregnancy due to high BP. This time I need coffee to get me up in the morning with my 1 y/o Unless my BP rises with this pregnancy I'm keeping my one cup a day of Joe

I love coffee...with cream and TONS of sugar. I figure that neither the caffine nor the sugar is great for my pregnancy so I have already cut it out. I'm actually a big tea drinker, but same thing--I like it with milk and sugar. Last time around I tried to drink decaf English Breakfast and Earl's Grey with milk and Stevia but is that nasty! Tasted like I was sucking runoff water from a paper mill! So It's water with lime/lemon or mint tea for another few weeks until I'm in my 2nd trimester and then I have Red Ras Leaf Tea to look forward to!
