We are sooo struggling with names for our adorable baby girl. Please see a photo of her in my sig line for an idea of what she looks like.
Fern - meaning obvious and I am a botanist so I like that, but prefer 2 syllable names
Freya - Norse goddess of love, often used in Germany too so sorta goes with the German part of our heritage
Uma - Tibetan/Hindu goddess - love the sound and meaning of it, but trying to figure out if "there's only one Uma" as one baby naming book says...(we would not be naming her after Uma Thurman specificially)
Mattea - to commemorate her deceased uncle...
