A while back I posted about my friends father who was planning on having his son(her 1/2 brother) circ'ed while he was under for another operation. He was born a month early with a heart defect, so they were going to wait until his surgery for that to circ. him. Well, I was talking to her about a mutual friend of ours who is being induced today(don't get me started on that one 
: ). The friend is also having a boy, and plans on getting him circ'ed, even though her fiance is intact, b/c she wants him to have a "normal" penis 
. I offered to let her watch "Whose Body, Whose, Rights", but she declined, saying she wasn't interested 
. WTF!!!
So, I mentioned to my friend how sad it was that the poor baby was going to be cut, and how, at least when her brother was circ'ed he was asleep. That is when she told me she that her dad and stepmom didn't have it done
! I don't know why they chose not too, she didn't ask, but he is still intact!!! I am just praying he stays that way for good now. I sent her father several emails about it, but he was not receptive AT ALL, and made it pretty clear, he was going to circ his son no matter what. He even told me that I was silly for believing all of this stuff, and wouldn't accept the statistics about circ. in this country as the truth.
I know that there is still a chance that he could get it done, but at least for now that baby is still intact, so I am happy!
